Participation and Rules
A Short Sprint Duathlon is a multi-sport race consisting of three segments: a run, a bike ride, and a final run. It is a shorter version of the standard sprint duathlon, making it more beginner-friendly and faster-paced.
The Rhythm of the Fields – Short Sprint Duathlon format includes:
- 1st Run: Around 2.5 km
- Cycling: Around 9 km
- 2nd Run: Around 1.5km
The race is performed in sequence without breaks, and transitions between running and cycling are crucial for efficiency. This event is ideal for newcomers to multisport racing or those looking for a high-intensity endurance challenge.
Duathlon Participants will follow a marked course that may include uneven ground, slopes, and obstacles like mud or water crossings. The goal is to complete the race in the shortest time possible.
- Bicycle (MTB only) in good riding condition is allowed.
- All participants must wear a proper safety helmet and other protective gears.
- During runs participants are advised to wear their running shoes (for those wearing clip pedals).
- During the switch, kindly park your bicycles in a system order (as instructed).
